Eleiko
Eleiko is the Swedish weightlifting company from Halmstad. Bars, plates and competition platforms are the equipment. Clubs and strength gyms treat the bar as a tool with a life.
A bar gets its own file when it is in daily use: sleeve spin, bend, knurl. Do not write ‘the Eleiko’ for six different bars. The shaft marking distinguishes them.
Parts to write on the job
Barbell
Spin in a sleeve, a bent shaft, or worn knurl belongs on that bar’s file. Bars are assets, not a pile.
Collar and pin
A missing collar or a pin that will not seat is a safety fault on the rack or the bar, not a lost-and-found item.
Plate and dumbbell
A cracked plate or a spinning dumbbell head is removed and written on the set’s file, or it returns from the back room.
GymMaintain is not this manufacturer and does not sell their parts. Record the brand and the model on the asset. Record the part you used on the work order, from the old part or the manual, not from a guess.
