A physio corner inside the gym needs its own assets

21 Nov 2025 · 1 min read

Treatment beds and small devices are not the gym floor’s leftovers. They have owners, faults, and a status.

If physiotherapists or coaches share a corner of your floor, decide whose register the bed, the ultrasound unit, or the bike is on. Shared and unowned means the fault sits in a conversation.

The gym’s standard still applies to anything a member might use unsupervised: a bike, a stepper, a set of bands. If only a practitioner uses a device, the status can say that, and the public page should not invite a member to try it.

Faults during a session

A device that fails with a client on it is a fault the same day. Do not wait for the practitioner to mention it next week. The job records whether it was withdrawn immediately.

Cleaning between clinical use and gym use is their protocol. Your record is whether the machine is safe to be on the floor at all. Do not mix a clinical note about a person into the asset. The asset is about the equipment. A person’s treatment does not belong there.

If the practitioner leaves, the equipment’s owner should be rewritten the same week. Otherwise you will maintain a machine nobody claims.
